Bonus Exercise - PM on a Boat
“PM on a Boat” is an optional, bonus event included in the class April through October, Tuesday evening until 7:30pm. With a licensed skipper, two or more able students set up the 25 foot boat, navigate, sail out into the south Bay and arrive back at the dock within a narrow time window at sunset. The event follows the phases of a project: initiate, plan, execute, control and close. It is effective in obtaining experience with the scheduling and tracking techniques presented in the classroom. If you intend to attend this event, please mark the checkbox on the registration form. Bring sweater, windbreaker, rubber soled shoes, and clothes that can take salt water spray. Even in mid summer, as evening approaches, the air cools toward the water temperature of 54 degrees F, with winds less than 25 mph. |
