SharePoint Developer / Architect
EPM Solutions has an immediate need for a Microsoft SharePoint Server Developer/Architect. This is an excellent opportunity for a SharePoint Developer who wants visibility, variety in their assignments, and to make a greater impact at the enterprise level interacting with senior managers including CIOs and CTOs.
Working fairly independently, you will develop SharePoint-based solutions to meet a variety of needs for our customers. You need to have the ability to create innovative solutions and to anticipate the needs of the clients. You will have a unique opportunity to see the overall picture of how SharePoint can be used even more beneficially for different organizations and vertical markets.
Responsibilities:
 |
Gather requirements, design, develop, debug, produce, refine, test, deploy SharePoint solutions |
 |
Use other Microsoft technologies or COTS products for integration with SharePoint to enhance its capabilities |
 |
Develop custom InfoPath workflows, web parts and BI reports using Excel Services, SSRS and PerformancePoint |
 |
Act as technical resource to support client's meetings, writing technical sections of proposal response, and presenting architecture and technical vision to the customer and mentor users |
 |
Research and analyze potential needs of the customers, develop prototypes of innovative solutions, and conduct presentations to demonstrate the benefits of the solutions |

Our Requirements:
 |
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in technical analysis, design and implementation of various SharePoint solutions |
 |
A minimum of 2 years software development experience |
 |
Ability to work on multiple engagements in different roles: architect, analyst, developer, administrator and/or trainer |
 |
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as the ability to lead a small team |
 |
Experience working with Microsoft Project Server, Forms Server, InfoPath, SQL Server, BizTalk Sever desirable |
 |
VMware experience is a plus |
 |
SOA experience is a plus |
 |
Microsoft certifications desirable |
 |
Business Intelligence (BI) experience a plus |
 |
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred |
 |
As part of this role, you will interact regularly with internal and external customers, so besides solid technical skills, strong communication and relationship skills are also a must. |

Ability to prioritize and work under pressure |
 |
US citizen desirable to access our government client sites |
 |
Willing to travel up to 20% |
